Hi there
I've just installed MUSHclient with the Aardwolf plug-ins (Client Ver 5.07-pre) r2110 from the zip - no install
I've noticed that there is some code/script showing in the main window. For example if i type look i can see:
{roomchars}
An angry noble stands here yelling at the witches.
A deer tick is here, looking for a host to feed from.
A furry, black spider is waiting for its prey here.
A peasant is here harvesting rye grain from the field.
{/roomchars}
I'm running wine on mac, but also tried it on my PC - both doing the same thing.
Is there a simple setting i need to turn off to remove the {roomchars}
It also shows similar code for other things, but not as often.
Any help would be great thanks! | top |

Best to not turn off all tags. Turn off the ones that are showing only, because ones that are not showing may still be there but being used and hidden by active plugins.
You should type 'tags roomchars off' rather than 'tags off'.
Typing 'tags' will show which ones are on and which are off. |

| I thought Fiendish would have a better answer than me, as he supports Aardwolf. I suggest you follow his advice. |

Thanks Nick - that worked a treat.
I had to turn the tag off individually, but all good.
Not even sure how it was turned on!

| @Fiendish - isn't it all done by telnet subnegotiation these days? Or is there a hybrid? |

| Hybrid. Not everything was migrated over to out of band messaging. I wish it were, because we'd have fewer instances of this happening. :) |
